Data sets are collections of raw information grouped in such a way that it can be studied by researchers. They are often presented in table or spreadsheets. Data sets may be provided by private entities, non-profit organizations, or federal, state, and local governments. Data sets tend to scattered around the Internet if they are free, or quite expensive if they require a subscription to access. These pages link to free or partially-free data sites, and options available only to the Harrisburg University community.
