What is Interlibrary loan?
Interlibrary Loan is a service that helps current Harrisburg University students, faculty, and staff get access to items that aren't available in our library

How to Use Interlibrary Loan?
Accessing Interlibrary Loan at Harrisburg University is easy. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the HU Library: Go to library.harrisburgu.edu and sign in.

2. Go to the Services Tab: Click on the "Services" tab, or visit this link directly.

3. Request Interlibrary LoanThere are two ways to request items through Interlibrary loan:

  • Use the "Request Interlibrary Loan" link from our library database search results.
  • Sign in to the Interlibrary loan page and click "Create Request." From there, simply enter the author, title, and publication details of the item you need.

Once you've submitted your request, sit back and relax! We’ll take it from there and contact you once your item is available.
