Library Resources for Faculty

Need help while completing your own research or looking into publishing an article and want to explore open access options? We can help!

We can help you to find resources in our collections and to request them from our partner institutions.

We can also help you with publishing your articles in our institutional repository, the Digital Commons! This is a repository for both student and faculty work done at HU.

Reach out and let us know what your research needs are and how we can help!

Interlibrary loan helps current Harrisburg University students, faculty, and staff get copies of items that are unavailable in our own library.  Just tell us what you need; we will find out which other library owns it and request a copy, free of charge to you.

There are two ways to make requests:

  • Use the "Request Interlibrary Loan" link from our library database search results
  •  Sign in here. Click "Create Request" and enter the author, title, and other publication details for the item you need.
  • Please do not use interlibrary loan to request copies of items that you will need for an entire semester. For items like desk copies or resources that you would like to see added to the collection, please see the "Textbooks" and "Suggestions" tabs above.
