Information Technology Related Library Databases

It is important that you use Library-provided databases as you research. Library databases are not free to the general public, but they contain information critical to your program. The Library pays for these databases on behalf of the entire Harrisburg University community..

One way to begin looking for resources by using a general purpose database such as the Library's Discovery Search. While this is a valid way to begin research, a general purpose database might not provide the specific sources you need. 

Therefore it is usually preferable to use a subject-specific database. You can access the Library's many databases using the Databases A-Z List.  Subject specific databases allow you to select only those databases most likely to contain material directly relevant to your topic, reducing the number of items you have to consider.
