Getting the Information You Need
Books, articles from journals, newspapers, and magazines, and other items can be obtained for you free of charge by the Harrisburg University Librarian. In the case of electronic copies of articles, you can have your information within 2-4 days. Books take longer to ship from the lending library.
Contact the Librarian at email@example.com with the information about the item you need. The Librarian will locate a copy for you and notify you when it arrives.
Need to Find Arguments For and Against Issues of Global Importance?
Try Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center! Look for the Viewpoint essays which have pro/con arguments on various topics. Find them by:
- Searching by keyword
- Selecting a topic from the list, such as human rights, AIDS, globalization, terrorism, etc.
Find Articles in Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers
Searching these databases will lead to many articles that are not available on the free Internet. Many of them will link you to full-text articles in the database, but remember: The University Librarian can get a copy of almost any article or book that you need.
