Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan helps current Harrisburg University students, faculty, and staff get copies of items that are unavailable from our own library.  Just tell us what you need; we will find out which other library owns it and request a copy, free of charge to you.

Placing Requests for Interlibrary Loan Materials 

Submit your contact information and all the information that you have about the item by filling out one of these forms:

Please allow 7 business days to receive your information request. You will be notified when your item is ready for shipping.  If your document comes in electronic format, we will e-mail it to you at the address specified in the form.

    Periodical featuring news, analysis, commentary, and job postings focused on higher education.
  • Environment Complete
    Environmental journals and resources from 1888 to present; some full text.

    Journals and magazines in education. Full-text.

  • GreenFILE

  • Health Source - Academic Edition
    Scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

  • If accessing from off-campus, don't use Firefox or Mozilla browsers. If you have trouble viewing, try using Internet Explorer.
  • If accessing from off-campus, use the surname/library number login or your HU credentials at the PASSHE screen. Your library number is on the back side of your HU ID card. If you do not have an ID card, please contact the University Librarian.
  • Make sure you create a profile the first time you access This will allow you to track your progress, bookmark favorite videos, and create certificates of completion.
